Leadership training is taking place across the continent of Europe. For a few examples of the training, read about three of these countries, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine:


Moldova
Leadership Training

Moldova is the poorest country in Europe with a population of 4.5 million people. While many former Soviet republics have adopted democratic political systems after falling away from the communist Soviet Union, Moldova officially remains the only communist country in Europe with many restrictions and persecution of evangelical Christians.

Moldova is at the door of spiritual awakening as many people are looking for answers that the government cannot provide. They are hungry for God and for the good news of the Gospel, but there is a desperate lack of godly leaders to show the way. To meet this need and to raise a new generation of Biblical leaders, EQUIP is training leaders using the Million Leaders Mandate curriculum in Moldova.

These leaders will in turn train hundreds of other leaders throughout the country. Your investment will help us train Moldovan leaders in biblical servant leadership over a 3-year process, who will be equipped to influence their churches and nation for Christ. Serbia
Leadership Training

Serbia is a country with a population of 10 million people and only 3,000 of them being evangelical Christians. The evangelical leaders in Serbia are very unified. They have been meeting to pray and fast for the country regularly in the last 2 years and they feel that EQUIP might become the catalyst in bringing revival into this country.

EQUIP launched training in Serbia in the fall of 2008. Your investment will help us train Serbian leaders in Biblical servant leadership over a 3-year process. They will be challenged to apply the leadership principles that they have learned to impact their family, church, community, and nation. Make a gift to help train Serbian leaders.


Ukraine
Leadership Training

Ukraine is Europe’s second largest country with a population of 46 million people. The country gained independence after the collapse of the communist Soviet Union in 1991. Since then, Ukraine has been going though many economic and political ups and downs, but in spite of these challenges, the country is in the middle of a spiritual awakening.

For the last 3 years about 18,000 leaders have been trained through EQUIP Million Leader Mandate (Volume 1 curriculum) who are now applying Biblical servant leadership principles to impact their families, churches, businesses, and society.

One of the leaders in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine said: “This training has impacted our country tremendously. Families have reached a higher level of relationship and unity that they could never reach on their own. Leaders began seeing success as they started applying Biblical leadership principles they have learned, they have re-gained the vision for their ministry, got rid of debts, have grown in their professional careers, their teams and churches started to grow…”

We have only touched the tip of the iceberg of the potential impact in Ukraine. EQUIP is launching Volume 2 training in Ukraine to further train the country’s top evangelical leaders.
