Five years ago, Ziad attended the first Million Leaders Mandate conference in Lebanon not knowing what to expect.
Ziad quickly realized the EQUIP training offered life-changing tools to spread new skills and growth to everyone in his environment. Ziad responded. He took this leadership material and trained a group in his church and another group at World Vision.
Ziad wanted to do more. He had a vision to train the 100 plus World Vision employees. Ziad did; and 180 participants from Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan were equipped and he continues to train more leaders.

EQUIP has launched Million Leaders Mandate, Volume 2 in Cairo, Egypt. Volume 2 is EQUIP’s second three-year initiative to train leaders. EQUIP Executive, Tom Atema, traveled to Cairo to launch the new curriculum. During his time there, he spoke with Egyptian leaders who said the doors and windows are closing to Egypt. In just a few short years, Egypt may be a closed country. EQUIP is dedicated to pour in leadership to Egyptian Christian Leaders while we still can.

Lebanon Conference
Leadership Training
EQUIP's Conference Coordinator in Lebanon said: “In the Middle East, one fear always accompanies the EQUIP conferences: because of the political instability and the insecure situation in Lebanon, a-last-minute incident might affect the attendance or even cancel the whole event. Despite the very unstable situation in Lebanon, the participants still decide to come and only very few attendees express their fear of crossing the borders. The conference comes as an encouragement to all participants who go back to their various ministries with new efficient tools.”
