John HullEQUIP’s Epic Sequel!

The summer months once again bring to movie theaters a large volume of not only new movies, but a fair share of sequels.  Some will be epic in proportion and production!

Sequels have proven to be successful for many motion picture brands.  From James Bond to Rambo to Die Hard to Spiderman, multiple sequels continue to draw awaiting audiences back to theatres to watch the same characters respond to different dramatic challenges.  The formula works for these and other films.

When an original formula works, sequels can work too.  A sequel has ingredients from the original, but then must establish its own uniqueness.  Without that, sequels can’t match the original.  However, with it sequels can often surpass the original in popularity.

In January, 2003, EQUIP debuted in Asia our first Million Leaders Mandate curriculum.  Lesson 1 of Notebook 1 was entitled, “God’s Call for Us to Lead.”  That lesson and five more, were taught in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Egypt and Lebanon to approximately 15,000 people who in turn committed to train 25 more.

The debut in Asia got great reviews.  Then, in 2004 we moved the training to Africa and got great reviews.  The same thing happened in 2005 when we took the training to Europe.  Last year, we took the training to Latin America and once again, got great reviews.  It has gotten great reviews now in over 100 nations and in 43 different languages.

Over the last 15 months, we have been in production putting together a sequel for a brand new volume of training that will debut, once again in Asia, in late 2007 and early 2008.  It has already begun field testing in India.  This particular publication will give you a “heads up” as to what the future scripts will be and a bit of the storyline of where we are specifically debuting our epic sequel.

Volume 2 is a labor of love.  Six new notebooks with thirty-six new leadership lessons rooted in the Word of God and made applicable through the leadership expertise of John Maxwell.

Here we go again!

Forgive me, but would you allow me to say this just once? “It’s Showtime!”
